Chair of the DNC Climate Council and Our Revolution Michigan Founder Michelle Deatrick to Lead Michigan GOTV Rally

Today, October 7th at 7:00pm ET, Our Revolution will host a GOTV election event to organize, get out the vote in Michigan, and win on November 3rd. With early voting already underway in Michigan, it’s more important than ever that voters have the information they need to cast their ballots and make their voices heard.

"Under the Trump administration, we have lost auto jobs here in Michigan,” said Our Revolution Michigan Founder and Chair of the DNC Climate Council Michelle Deatrick. “Key environmental protections of our water and air have been rolled back, and more than 209,000 American lives have been lost. President Trump won Michigan by only two votes per precinct in 2016 -- voting in this election could not be more critical, nor the choice for voters more clear."

The event will include endorsements of Michigan candidates by Our Revolution and Our Revolution Michigan, as well as information for how voters can phonebank for Biden-Harris and progressive Democrats in the battleground state. Michelle Deatrick, the Founder of Our Revolution Michigan and Chair of the DNC Climate Council will be joined by U.S. Representatives for Michigan Rashida Tlaib and Andy Levin, former UAW President Bob King, Eli Savit, candidate for Washtenaw County Prosecutor, and Teanna Dowdell, a UAW auto worker from Flint, Michigan.
