Advisory: Climate on the Ballot Roundtable

DNC Climate Council to Host Virtual “Climate on the Ballot” GOTV Event with Leading Climate Change Activists

Following the Presidential debate, the DNC Environment and Climate Crisis Council will hold a virtual GOTV event, “Climate on the Ballot,” on Wednesday evening. Council Founder and Chair Michelle Deatrick will be joined by climate change leaders, including 350.org co-founder Bill McKibben, Greenpeace climate campaigner Charlie Jiang, Council member and Detroit climate organizer Justin Onwenu, and Ada Limón, one of the nation’s leading eco-poets.

Climate is on the ballot this year, and the power and importance of climate voters is enormous. The DNC Climate Council is working to get out the environmental vote and push for the bold climate policies we need. This means putting Joe Biden in the White House and electing climate champions across the country. And then continuing to organize and amplify the voices of climate and environmental justice activists.
