Hello, Climate Activist. And happy Earth Month — a month when we recommit ourselves and our communities to fighting the existential threat of the climate crisis and protecting our land, water and air. Never has this fight and our movement been more important. It is not an overstatement or hyperbole to say what we do between this Earth Month and next year’s Earth Month will have prolonged and irreversible impacts for generations to come.

The election this November will decide if we are going to move forward as a nation to address the climate crisis and protect our environment — or if we are going to allow Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans to turn back the clock on not only the progress of the last three years, but the progress of the last three decades. This is why we need to mobilize like never before: not only this month, but every month between now and November.

Which is exactly what we are doing. In this email, you will find information about events happening around the country all month. As well as an update about the growing network of state Democratic environmental groups who will be active not only during Earth Month but through the election and beyond.

But we need you — all of you — now more than ever. So thank you for all you have done and will do during Earth Month and through November.

The stakes could not be higher.

In solidarity,

Michelle Deatrick

Add Your Name: Thank President Biden for Historic Climate Action. President Biden’s leadership on climate and environmental justice is historic. Building on the Inflation Reduction Act’s landmark renewable energy and green jobs investments, the Administration recently enacted stronger methane regulations, restricted deadly soot pollution, and launched the American Climate Corps — providing crucial training to youth for fighting the climate crisis. Join us in thanking him for his leadership and action on climate, and for all he will do after re-election.
